IMMEDIATELY HIRING — Handyman Maintenance Technician (1099 Independent Contractor)
Cleveland OH
We are seeking an experienced Handyman Maintenance Technician to join our team performing maintenance work on rental properties. This is a 1099 independent contractor position ideal for a skilled, self-motivated professional who takes pride in quality work.
Requirements:
- Must have own truck/vehicle and tools (gas not included)
- Previous experience in maintenance or a related trade required (Electrical/HVAC/Plumbing/Roofing/Concrete Highly Desired)
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic electrical repairs, water heater maintenance, drywall repair, plumbing/toilet repair, and door/window repair
- Complete work orders promptly and to a high standard
- Document completed work with photos and notes via our mobile app (training provided over the phone)
- Travel within an assigned work zone (typically within a 25-mile radius, subject to change based on assignments)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with management and make sound on-the-job decisions
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in maintenance, handyman work, or a related field
- Familiarity with hand tools and standard maintenance equipment
- Working knowledge of general home repair and upkeep
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Physically able to handle the demands of the job
- Comfortable learning and using a mobile app for documentation (training provided)
