Job Description
About Atomus
\n
Atomus is the cybersecurity and compliance platform built exclusively for aerospace and defense. Founded in 2019 out of a Department of Defense initiative, we help defense contractors meet NIST 800-171, DFARS 7012, ITAR, and CMMC requirements. Our Aegis platform runs on customers' endpoints, servers, and Microsoft 365 environments — automatically installing and configuring the security tools they need and generating their compliance documentation in real time. In April 2025 we became one of the first organizations to achieve CMMC Level 2 certification with a perfect 110/110 score.

The Role
\n
As an IT Project Manager, you own the end-to-end onboarding of new Atomus customers — typically a two-month journey from signed contract to a fully deployed, compliant environment. You map each customer's transition from their existing IT infrastructure to the Atomus Aegis stack, and you coordinate across the customer, their IT vendors, and our engineering team to keep every rollout on schedule. You plug into customer pods during onboarding, working alongside GRC and Cybersecurity Engineering. This is a role for someone who thrives on running technical projects start to finish. Like the rest of our customer-facing team, it's an individual-contributor role.

What You'll Do
\n
- \n
- Own end-to-end onboarding for new customers, from the kickoff call to go-live (typically about two months).
- Map the IT transition from each customer's existing infrastructure to the Atomus Aegis stack across endpoints, servers, and Microsoft 365.
- Build and manage project plans, timelines, and milestones for every onboarding.
- Coordinate between customers, their IT vendors, and Atomus engineering to keep deployments on track.
- Manage external stakeholder communication and keep everyone aligned and informed.
- Refine onboarding processes and templates so delivery scales as Atomus grows.
