Parkway Towers Condominium Association is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Janitorial Team Member to help maintain one of Kansas City's premier high-rise communities. Position Summary
The Janitorial Team Member is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of the property's common areas and assisting with the upkeep of the grounds to ensure an exceptional living experience for residents and guests.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, fitness center, meeting rooms, and other common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces.
- Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper waste disposal.
- Clean windows, doors, and glass surfaces.
- Restock restroom and common area supplies.
- Report maintenance concerns and safety hazards.
- Assist with resident event setup and cleanup.
- Remove litter and debris from sidewalks, parking areas, and outdoor common spaces.
- Assist with seasonal duties including snow removal, salting, and leaf cleanup.
- Set up amenity rooms for resident reservations.
- Follow all safety procedures and OSHA standards.
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safe work practices.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform physical work indoors and outdoors.
