As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in Sacramento, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy transportation location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related concerns. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the transportation location, including public areas, entrances, platforms, waiting areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
- Monitor access points and observe site activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations.
- Support orderly operations by assisting with directions, reporting maintenance or operational concerns, and communicating professionally with the public and site personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
