Job Title: DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR (DONOR OUTREACH)
Classification: FULL-TIME / NON-EXEMPT
Reports to: CEO

The Development Coordinator is responsible for cultivating and strengthening donor relationships through proactive outreach, accurate donor database management, and consistent follow-up to increase donor retention and support fundraising efforts. This role provides administrative support to the Development team, maintains the integrity of donor records, and assists with the planning and execution of fundraising initiatives and events. The Development Coordinator must be extremely organized, have excellent communication and relationship building skills, strong analytical skills, self-motivated, proficient in using Google Suite, able to work independently, and as part of a team with little supervision. Must be able to manage competing needs while supporting multiple team members
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Making donor phone calls for cultivation and donation requests

Support meaningful donor interactions and follow-up

Neon updates and maintenance ensuring accuracy
-
Provide weekly Neon activity reports to CEO

Cultivating expired and soon to expire Season Pass holders
-
Cultivating expired and soon to expire Annual animal sponsorships
-
Calling donors with expired credit cards
-
Support planning and execution of events
-
Maintain strict confidentiality of all donor, financial and organizational information

Exercise discretion and sound judgement when handling sensitive data and communications

Support the Development team with administrative duties

Perform all other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
-
2–4 years of experience in administrative, events, or nonprofit work
-
Non-profit and/or fundraising experience is a huge plus
-
Strong attention to detail (this is critical in this role)
-
Comfort working with data, spreadsheets, and systems (CRM experience a plus)
-
Excellent organization, time management and follow-through
-
Warm, professional communication style
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and consistency
-
Vegan or Vegetarian lifestyle is a plus

A positive, team-oriented mindset
