Job Description

OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION: The Maintenance Technician is a senior-level position responsible for providing diagnosis and repair support of assembly and test equipment, as well as support facilities maintenance activities.

\n ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    \n
  • :Operating independently with little or no supervision, diagnoses and repairs a variety of manufacturing and test equipment
  • \n

  • .Fabricate equipment utilizing machine shop tool
  • \n

  • sRebuild tool
  • \n

  • sRobot diagnosis and trouble shooting. Ability to modify robot programs
  • \n

  • .Engages Controls Engineering when the technician deems it necessary
  • \n

  • .Read controls and outputs as needed
  • \n

  • .Read and interpret test equipment indicators, including electrical and mechanical prints and multi-meters
  • \n

  • .Ability to easily maneuver through HMI interface
  • \n

  • sWork with production to correct quality problems as well as continuous improvement project
  • \n

  • sRequired to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties upon request of the superviso
  • \n

  • rComplies with the following OSHA Safety Standards: Hazard Communication; Blood borne Pathogens; Lockout; Permit Required Confined Space; Hot Work Permit; Powered Industrial Trucks; P.P.E. and Ergonomic

  • sMust be physically present in the plant during specified working hours, unless instructed otherwise by supervisor, and be able to rotate to other work areas as instructed
