Job Title: RabbitMQ Engineer (IRS – Active IRS MBI Required)
Location: Remote. Duration: Full-Time
We are seeking a skilled RabbitMQ Engineer to support an IRS program. The ideal candidate will have experience managing RabbitMQ environments and supporting enterprise messaging solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain RabbitMQ environments.
- Manage queues, exchanges, users, permissions, and messaging services.
- Monitor system health and resolve messaging issues.
- Work with development teams to support application integrations.
- Perform upgrades, maintenance, and performance tuning.
- Ensure messaging systems meet security and reliability standards.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience with RabbitMQ.
- Strong understanding of AMQP and messaging concepts.
- Experience with RabbitMQ clustering and high availability.
- Knowledge of Linux and scripting.
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Active IRS MBI clearance is required.
- Previous IRS or federal experience is preferred.
