Fireplace Technician / Handyman (Seasonal Contract)
Location: Dallas–Fort Worth, TX
Job Type: Seasonal Contract (1099)
Season: September through February
Schedule: Sunday–Friday
Job Description
We are looking for a dependable and mechanically inclined individual to join our team performing fireplace service and installations. Experience working with gas fireplaces is a plus, but we are primarily looking for someone who is comfortable using tools, enjoys hands-on work, and is able to work in tight spaces.
Responsibilities
- Install gas log systems
- Replace pilot assemblies
- Replace gas valves
- Perform fireplace repairs and maintenance
- Diagnose basic fireplace issues
- Maintain a clean and professional work area
Requirements
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Mechanically inclined
- Able to work in tight spaces
- Reliable transportation (We can supply a vehicle)
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
Previous experience with fireplaces, HVAC, plumbing, appliance repair, or similar hands-on trades is a plus but not required.
