Job DescriptionREQUIRES AN EXISTING/ACTIVE TS/SCI WITH CI POLYGRAPH - NO REMOTE WORK, MUST WORK ON SITEJob DescriptionIn this role, a typical day will include:Participating in requirement analysis, solution design, testing, and implementation of next generation Storage and Backup systems, both on and off premiseCollaborating with the Gov Technical Leads, storage vendors, and cloud providers to evaluate emerging storage technologiesDeveloping and maintaining the storage demonstration environment in the designated test labDevelop and execute test plans for storage and backup solutionsPerforming root cause analysis for major issues and recommend improvementsProviding storage upgrade recommendations and support system integration activitiesProviding Tier 3/4 support to storage and backup platformsConducting system security engineering with a Storage/SAN focusInstalling, monitoring, and optimizing storage solutions to achieve Authorize to Operate (ATO) What you'll need:Expertise with NetApp, Dell/EMC, Pure Storage, Cohesity, Rubrik, NetBackup, or hyper‑converged solutions (VxRail, Nutanix)Full life‑cycle SAN administration experience, including utilization analysis and capacity planningExperience with virtual environment such as VMWareProficiency with Windows and RedHat administrationFamiliarity with Cloud storage solutions (AWS, Azure, or Oracle)Broad understanding across technology towers i.e.: Storage, Virtualization, Intel, Networking, Data Center Migration and Disaster Recovery
