Job DescriptionMake Ready Technician – Property Management
Location:Fort Worth, TX 76132
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Compensation: $18-$19 per hour
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Make Ready Technician to join our property management team. This role is essential in preparing vacant units for new residents and ensuring our community maintains a clean, high‑quality appearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete all make‑ready tasks including painting, patching, cleaning, and general repairs
- Inspect units and identify items needing repair or replacement before move‑in
- Assist with minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance tasks
- Ensure all units meet company quality standards and are move‑in ready on schedule
- Maintain inventory of supplies and keep work areas clean and organized
- Support maintenance team with work orders as needed
- Report safety hazards, maintenance issues, and needed repairs
- Provide friendly, professional customer service to residents and staff
Qualifications
- 1+ year of make‑ready or property maintenance experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of general repairs, painting, and cleaning procedures
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple unit turns
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Strong attention to detail and time‑management skills
- Positive, team‑oriented attitude
