Job DescriptionVIP Staffing is immediately hiring a Maintenance Technician for a leading organization in Belen, NM This is a Full Time Temp to Hire Opportunity Schedules available are 11:00pm - 7:30 am Pay for this position is $23 - $28 DOE
As a maintenance technician you will:
- Determine required machine adjustments by reading job specifications
- Work on equipment stoppages, hydraulic, pneumatic, basic electrical
- Perform routine start-up/shutdown of the equipment
- Perform routine changeovers on equipment
- Maintain inventory of assembly parts, tools and supplies for maintenance department
- QC-ensure that all products meet the company's quality specifications
- Work with production engineers in trouble shooting issues related to equipment performance.
- Assist production engineers in implementing technical corrective actions, based on customer complaints
- Follow all cGMP rules
- Monitor production machine operation to identify malfunctions
- Maintain maintenance log for all equipment
- Ensure participation and cooperation in company-implemented ESHA programs
Maintenance technician candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- High school Diploma or equivalent required
- 2 years of applicable trade school, college, 6 years relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination.
- Electrical troubleshooting experience preferred
- General knowledge of hand & power tools
- Advanced computer skills (proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite)
- Basic math skills
- Proficiency in English
- Able to work varied work hours
- Self-starter and able to make fast and accurate decisions
- Results oriented with the ability to handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs. on your own
- Ability to pass required pre-employment screening.
