Job Title: Oracle EBS Technical Lead Location: Knoxville, Tennessee Responsibilities
- Lead Engineer / Tech Lead: Own end to end technical delivery for Splash BI implementations.
- Perform architecture reviews and guide design decisions with minimal oversight.
- Lead code reviews and enforce engineering best practices.
- Identify technical risks early and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Serve as a technical point of contact between engineering, delivery, and business teams.
- Operational & Production Readiness: Support production BI environments.
- Troubleshoot data issues, failed loads, and reporting discrepancies.
- Apply strong understanding of change management, releases, and cutover planning.
- Create and maintain Runbooks and technical documentation.
- Maintain data lineage and reconciliation guides.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience.
- Hands on experience implementing and supporting Splash BI in an enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of Splash BI data models, cubes, and reporting structures.
- Ability to optimize Splash BI performance for large Finance datasets.
- Experience supporting Finance stakeholders.
- Deep experience with Oracle E Business Suite (EBS) Finance modules: GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management.
- Strong understanding of EBS table structures and data relationships.
- Ability to extract, transform, and reconcile EBS financial data for BI/reporting use cases.
- Experience working with EBS customizations and extensions.
- Advanced SQL skills (complex joins, performance tuning, reconciliation queries).
- Experience building data feeds from Oracle EBS into BI platforms.
- Familiarity with file based integrations (SFTP, scheduled extracts).
- Data transformation and validation experience.
- Understanding of financial data controls and audit requirements.
- Proven ability to ramp up quickly in complex environments.
- Comfortable working with partial context and imperfect documentation.
- Clear and concise communicator with technical and non technical audiences.
- Experience working with global and distributed teams.
- Ownership mindset – focuses on outcomes, not just tasks.
