Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Route Driver in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine driving patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every interaction while supporting a caring, people-first culture.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting details and communicating with supervisors and local law enforcement when needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, parking areas, common spaces, entry points, and perimeter areas, with attention to unusual activity and security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, trespassing, loitering, and/or property damage within the location.
- Complete routine reports on daily activity, incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations, and report hazards or suspicious conditions to appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- An armed guard card and/or license is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
