About the Role:
\n
Bright Minds is partnering with a growing systems integration organization to find a Security Service Technician to support existing customers through service calls, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and small project work. This role is ideal for a technician with experience servicing access control, video surveillance, intrusion, and related electronic security systems who enjoys working directly with customers, solving technical issues in the field, and supporting installed systems throughout their lifecycle.

This role is responsible for responding to routine service calls, scheduled maintenance visits, emergency service requests, and occasional after-hours support. The technician will diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective components while maintaining and optimizing security systems in the field. Additional duties include performing preventative maintenance, supporting small installations and system upgrades, and completing detailed service documentation for invoicing, job costing, and customer records. The position also assists with system integrations, audits, database changes, upgrade planning, and network-connected equipment as needed. Success in this role requires strong communication with customers and internal teams, adherence to all safety policies and regulatory requirements, and close collaboration with fellow technicians to support cross-training and continuous operational improvement.

Top 3 Qualifications:
\n
- \n
- 3–5 years of experience servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to travel locally to jobsites on a regular basis; minimal overnight travel may be required.

Preferred Experiences:

- \n
- CCTV platforms such as Milestone, Genetec, and Avigilon
- Access control systems such as AMAG, Lenel, Genetec, CCURE, and S2
- Intrusion systems such as DMP and Bosch
- Experience supporting network-connected security devices and related integrations
