Our client is looking for Groundskeepers to work on the campus of their private school in Jacksonville.
Because this job is on school grounds, it requires a clean background, ability to pass a drug test as well as fingerprinting before you will be able to start..
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $16.50 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday 6am-230pm
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Jacksonville, FL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:
- Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)

Duties:
- Perform regular maintenance and upkeep of outdoor areas, including lawns, gardens, and landscapes.
- Operate power tools and hand tools to trim, mow, edge, and prune vegetation.
- Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the appearance of outdoor spaces.
- Maintain irrigation systems and ensure proper watering of plants.
- Remove weeds, leaves, and debris from outdoor areas.
- Monitor and report any issues or damages to outdoor structures or equipment.
- Keep all common areas clean, emptying trash receptacles as well as picking up trash
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Experience:
- Previous experience in groundskeeping or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with operating power tools and hand tools.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
