Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Evening Custodian to help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our school facilities. This is a part-time, evening position responsible for cleaning all building bathrooms, vacuuming, and ensuring the front lobby and common areas are spotless. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a heart for service.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors.
- Clean and maintain the front lobby and entryway areas.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and notify supervisor of repairs or supply needs.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Perform additional cleaning tasks as assigned to maintain a clean and orderly environment.
Qualifications
- Previous custodial or cleaning experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Strong attention to detail and quality of work.
- Ability to work independently after hours.
- Commitment to the Christian faith and mission of Parkhurst Academy.
Schedule
- Evenings, Tuesday-Friday
- Approximately 20-30 hours per week
