SALARY ROLE: $75K-$95K

Key Responsibilities
\n
Leadership & Team Management
\n

- Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team, including technicians and mechanics.
- Schedule and assign daily maintenance activities.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Develop and manage preventive maintenance (PM) programs for all production equipment.
- Ensure maintenance tasks are completed on schedule and properly documented.
- Implement predictive maintenance practices to reduce unexpected breakdowns.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Equipment Reliability & Troubleshooting Oversee troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing equipment.
- Respond quickly to equipment failures to minimize production downtime.
- Analyze recurring equipment issues and implement long-term corrective actions.
- Coordinate major repairs and equipment installations.
- Manufacturing Support Partner closely with Production, Quality, and Operations teams to support manufacturing goals.
- Participate in daily production meetings and communicate maintenance priorities.
- Ensure machinery is operating safely and efficiently to meet production demands.
- Support new product launches and process improvements.
- Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain a safe work environment.
- Manage lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and other safety programs.
- Investigate maintenance-related incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Budget & Inventory Management Manage maintenance department budget and control costs.
- Track maintenance expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain adequate inventory of spare parts and critical components.
- Coordinate purchasing of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Facilities Management Oversee maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, and facility infrastructure.
- Coordinate contractor services and ensure quality work completion.
- Manage facility improvement projects as needed.
- Continuous Improvement Drive initiatives to improve equipment uptime, efficiency, and reliability.
- Utilize root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement programs.
- Track and report maintenance KPIs such as downtime, PM completion rates, and maintenance costs.
- Preferred Experience 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience managing maintenance teams in a fast-paced production environment.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial safety practices.
- Experience with CMMS systems and preventive maintenance programs.
- Bedding, furniture, foam, textile, or manufacturing industry experience preferred.
