Key Responsibilities

Seeking an experienced Structured Cabling Estimator with 5+ years of telecommunications estimating and engineering experience to design, estimate, and support structured cabling projects.

Estimate and engineer structured cabling projects.

Design and implement telecommunications and data cabling systems.
-
Prepare and revise engineering drawings.
-
Review project drawings and specifications.
-
Conduct site visits and provide technical support during installations.
-
Coordinate with internal teams and other design disciplines.
-
Ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

Develop project budgets and construction documentation.
Requirements
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in telecommunications estimating and engineering.

Prior engineering experience is required.

Experience estimating structured cabling/low-voltage projects.
-
Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems, telecommunications, and data communications infrastructure.

Familiarity with BICSI standards, EIA/TIA-568, and NEC codes.
-
Experience preparing engineering drawings, construction documents, and project cost estimates.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project).
-
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
-
Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites.
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree.

BICSI certification.
-
RCDD certification.
-
AutoCAD experience.
