We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs across a variety of building systems.
This position requires prior maintenance experience in both medical facilities (healthcare environments) and commercial buildings. Candidates must be familiar with the unique operational, safety, and regulatory requirements associated with these types of facilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and technical skills in a fast-paced setting, contributing directly to the seamless functioning of our operations.
Qualifications
- Required: Proven maintenance experience in medical facilities (healthcare environments) and commercial buildings.
- Proven experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or related maintenance roles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues effectively.
- Experience working with schematics, technical diagrams, and blueprints is essential.
- Service technician experience preferred; familiarity with HVAC systems including air conditioning is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of construction practices, building systems, and safety protocols related to maintenance work.
- Familiarity with healthcare facility standards, infection control practices, and maintaining operations in occupied medical environments is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team during maintenance projects or emergency responses.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
