Position Summary
Turn Right Services is seeking a reliable and skilled Remodel / Maintenance Technician to perform residential maintenance repairs, property management work orders, and interior remodel projects. This role requires someone who can work independently, solve problems in the field, and deliver high-quality craftsmanship while maintaining strong communication with supervisors and project managers.
The technician will perform a wide range of tasks including repairs, installations, and remodeling work for residential and commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Repair Work
- Diagnose and repair residential maintenance issues
- Perform work orders for property management companies
- Handle plumbing fixture replacements, light electrical repairs, drywall patching, and general handyman tasks
- Complete service calls efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship
Remodeling & Construction
- Assist with or perform remodeling work including:
- Framing
- Drywall installation and repair
- Interior painting
- Cabinet installation
- Trim carpentry
- Flooring installation
- Minor demolition and site preparation
Jobsite Management
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Communicate job progress and issues to supervisors
- Identify change order opportunities when additional work is required
- Follow project plans and scope of work
Documentation & Reporting
- Upload job photos and notes as required
- Track time and materials accurately
- Report any safety issues or project concerns immediately
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years construction, maintenance, or remodeling experience
- Strong knowledge of residential construction practices
- Ability to perform multiple trades (drywall, trim, paint, minor plumbing/electrical)
- Ability to work independently and make field decisions
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
Preferred:
- Experience with property management maintenance
- Experience working with work order systems or job tracking software

- Complete work orders efficiently and professionally

- Communicate clearly with supervisors and clients
- Identify additional work opportunities when encountered in the field

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Ability to work on ladders and in confined spaces
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $20 – $28 per hour (depending on experience)
