POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Site Lead at Hartford Elementary School to help create a fun, structured, and enriching experience for students. This individual will work alongside the Site Coordinator and other Site Leads, providing leadership and support. Additionally, the Site Lead will assist in maintaining a safe, positive, and engaging environment for all children.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate and support daily lesson plans and activities.

Effectively manage student behaviors using positive reinforcement and classroom management strategies.Help implement the daily schedule, ensuring all activities run on time and transitions are smooth.Ensure the safety and supervision of all children at all times.Encourage participation and foster a positive, inclusive environment where all students feel valued.Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and guardians as needed.Assist with program logistics, including setup, cleanup, and organization of materials.Model professionalism and enthusiasm, setting a positive example for students and staff.

  • Written Communication: writes clearly and concisely; edits work; varies writing style to meet specific needs; presents data effectively; able to read and interpret written information.

  • Adaptability: Adapts to changes in the work environment; juggling competing demands; changes approach or method to best fit the situation; able to deal with occasional change, delays, or unexpected events. Asks the supervisor when unsure of priorities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience working with children in an educational, camp, or childcare setting for at least 1 year.

Classroom management and behavior management experience.

  • Ability to effectively supervise children during daily activities.

Strong organizational and communication skills

.CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Schedule & Compensation:

  • 3:25pm-6pm Monday-Friday
  • Our programming runs from August 17th- May 21st

Starting at $14.50 for qualified candidates

  • Part-time school year work
