We're hiring a hands-on Maintenance Technician for a busy food manufacturing facility in northwest Iowa. You'll be keeping production equipment running at its best — handling everything from routine preventive maintenance to emergency breakdowns — and playing a direct role in keeping the plant compliant, safe, and productive

What You'll Be Doing
\n

- Performing routine and preventive maintenance on processing and packaging equipment
- Responding to emergency/unscheduled mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic repairs
- Setting up and preparing machinery for scheduled production runs
- Troubleshooting equipment faults across both electrical and mechanical systems
- Completing work orders and maintaining accurate maintenance records
- Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime
- Maintaining buildings and grounds as needed
- Adhering to GMP, OSHA safety standards and all company safety policies

What You Bring
\n
- \n
- High School Diploma or equivalent (technical school coursework in electrical, welding, HVAC or boiler maintenance is a plus)
- Minimum 2 years of maintenance/repair experience in a manufacturing environment
- Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Ability to read equipment manuals, electrical schematics and work orders
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Basic computer skills for work order management systems
