Oakbrook Corporation is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Part-Time Maintenance Technician to join our team at Brenwood Park Senior Apartments, a beautiful senior living community in Franklin, Wisconsin.

What You'll Be Doing
- Complete daily resident work orders promptly and professionally
- Perform repairs related to plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance
- Assist with apartment turnovers to prepare homes for new residents
- Conduct preventative maintenance and routine property inspections
- Maintain common areas, grounds, and building systems
- Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors when needed
- Identify and report safety concerns or maintenance issues
- Assist with seasonal property responsibilities, including snow removal and landscaping support
- Deliver exceptional customer service to residents, guests, and team members
- Support Oakbrook's commitment to maintaining high-quality communities
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, reliable, and takes pride in quality workmanship. You enjoy troubleshooting issues, working independently, and interacting with residents in a respectful and professional manner.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, or related experience
- Working knowledge of:
- HVAC systems
- Plumbing repairs
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Appliance repair
- Painting and drywall repair
- Carpentry and general building maintenance
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Comfortable working independently with limited supervision
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Personal hand tools required
- Take part in an on-call rotation
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull maintenance equipment and materials
- Trade school training or maintenance certifications are a plus
