Maintenance Technician (Multi-Site) – Raleigh Area
$22–$25/hr + Company Vehicle + Excellent Benefits

We are seeking a reliable, self-motivated Maintenance Technician to oversee multiple self-storage facilities throughout the greater Raleigh area, including Clayton, Fuquay-Varina, Zebulon, Durham, and additional locations as we continue to expand.

Position Overview
This is a field-based position responsible for maintaining and improving multiple self-storage properties throughout the Raleigh market. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, proactive, and able to work independently while maintaining strong communication with site managers and company leadership.
We are looking for someone who takes ownership, identifies problems before they become costly repairs, and contributes positively to our team culture.
Key Responsibilities
Property Maintenance
- Perform general maintenance and repairs across multiple facilities
- Clean storage units after customer move-outs to prepare them for new tenants
- Remove and dispose of abandoned tenant property when necessary
- Maintain the overall appearance, cleanliness, and functionality of each facility
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify maintenance concerns proactively
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues before they become larger problems
Facility Improvements
- Assist with capital improvement projects and property upgrades
- Coordinate and communicate with third-party contractors and vendors
- Support ongoing facility enhancements as the company grows
Team Communication
- Maintain regular communication with site managers and upper management
- Participate in weekly company meetings
- Document completed work and report maintenance concerns
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment
Qualifications
Required
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn and grow
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Preferred (Not Required)
Experience with any of the following is a major plus:
- HVAC systems
- Plumbing
- Electrical systems
- Access control systems and gate operators
- General construction or handyman experience
- Self-storage, commercial property, or facility maintenance experience
