Job Title: Facilities Project Support Technician Location: Lynchburg, Virginia Type: Contract Contractor Work Model: Onsite – onsite
Responsibilities:
- Support Facility Projects Managers by physically being on the job sites overseeing construction projects.
- Act as a liaison between the contractors and Project Manager.
- Ensure the site is safe according to standards and safety rules.
- Verify that all personnel have the proper PPE for the job.
- Maintain construction barriers as needed.
- Keep construction sites safe and compliant with industry safety standards.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with construction teams and management.
Requirements:
- Background check required
- Initial/Random Drug Tests
- Site Access and safety training will be required
- Reliability, punctuality, and dedication
- Good communication skills
- Trustworthiness and responsibility
- Knowledge of construction techniques
- Knowledge of construction industry safety standards
- Flexibility to work standard hours Monday-Friday 7:00-4:30, with overtime and weekends as required
- Ability to coach construction workers
