Pay: $19/hour

Employment Solutions is hiring for our client in Vernon, CT!
We are looking for a motivated candidate to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of property grounds. This role combines exterior grounds upkeep with light interior maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Grounds Maintenance:
- Mow lawns, trim edges, and maintain landscaped areas
- Trim bushes, hedges, and overgrown vegetation
- Remove trash and debris from outdoor areas, walkways, and parking lots
- Assist with seasonal tasks such as leaf removal and light snow clearing
Maintenance & Light Upkeep:
- Perform minor repairs and upkeep in units and common areas (e.g., unclog toilets, fix minor issues)
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, stairwells, and shared spaces
- Clean and prepare vacant units for new tenants, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
- Ensure all areas meet cleanliness and safety standards
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or property maintenance preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and maintaining property appearance
