LCH Health and Community Services (LCH) is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Worker to help maintain our healthcare facilities in southern Chester County, PA. This position plays a key role in ensuring our buildings are safe, functional, and welcoming for patients, staff, and visitors.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventive maintenance and facility repairs
- Troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building issues
- Complete work orders and maintain maintenance records
- Coordinate and oversee outside contractors and vendors
- Support facility improvement projects and office moves
- Maintain grounds, including snow and ice removal
- Conduct safety inspections and help ensure OSHA compliance
- Manage facility access systems, alarms, and security coordination
- Respond to maintenance and safety issues in a timely manner
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade/vocational training preferred
- 2-5 years of commercial building maintenance experience
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Healthcare or nonprofit experience preferred
